I've spent my career making people and animals look extraordinary — first for brands like Method, Hush Puppies, and Clorox, and agencies like Goodby Silverstein, Saatchi & Saatchi, and Publicis. Eighteen years of commercial photography taught me something: the work I enjoy most is the one-on-one connection. Helping someone walk into a session nervous and walk out feeling like their best selves.

That's why I built The Proper Portrait — a San Francisco studio dedicated to business headshots, executive portraits, and (my personal favorite) pet portraits. I bring the same level of craft and attention to your LinkedIn headshot that I'd bring to a national ad campaign. The difference is, this time it's personal. I also work with companies that want a better way to get headshots for their teams — same approach, same quality, less hassle.
